Ontario Chapter

Our first official update to National. We are very excited to announce MBCEA Ontario Chapter held
two successful meetings in 2025. Ontario Canada has never had an association for our construction
segment before, and we are so pleased with how the local metal building community is supporting
the association from contractors, erectors and vendors. We have made a lot of headway since the
chapters initial meeting on August 15, 2025. A key milestone for MBCEA Ontario Chapter was at our
second meeting (Q4) where we established our Board of Directors and Committees. Committees
were created to focus on critical areas that our industry requires support in. Just before the end of
2025 we incorporated the chapter as a non-profit organization.

We are looking forward to hosting our Q1 meeting February 12th, 2026, at Bevi Birra in Woodbridge
ON. A sponsor for the meeting has not been confirmed yet. Committees have been challenged with
meeting once a month to discuss relevant topics to their group. A full update will be provided by
each committee at our Q1 meeting. We will also have a guest speaker join us to discuss metal
building design to further support the chapter’s commitment to education and technical excellence. 
As the Chapter enters 2026, the focus remains on growing membership, strengthening industry
relationships, advancing safety, quality standards and supporting the next generation of metal
building professionals across Ontario. The Ontario Chapter is excited about the momentum built in
2025 and look forward to continued collaboration with National, other MBCEA chapters, and our
own local association.
