Midwest Chapter News

The Midwest Chapter was pretty quiet in 2023, but has plans for a couple events early in 2024. We are in the planning stages for a European pheasant shoot in late winter/early spring followed by a golf outing. Looking forward to an active and successful 2024!

Mid-Atlantic Chapter News

We are pleased to offer a CPR/Basic First Aid course to be held at ATAS International in Allentown, PA on Friday, April 12. Check the expiration date on your employees' current certification cards and sign up for another 2-year certification. Get your new employees certified. 

Adult and Child CPR with Basic First Aid

First Aid:

A classroom, video based, instructor led course that teaches critical skills to respond and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. You will learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

CPR:

A classroom, video based, instructor led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking in an adult. This course will meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

OSHA and AHA (American Heart Association) work together to raise awareness about safety and health to prevent injuries, illnesses and fatalities in the workplace.

Greater Ohio Chapter News

The Energy Code in Ohio is changing on March 1st! The Greater Ohio MBCEA Chapter, along with Owens Corning, Therm-All, Bay Insulation, and CHIEF Buildings, presented on this crucial topic at Owens Corning's World Headquarters in Toledo, OH on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Owens Corning for their hospitality. Many thanks to Todd Carlson and Bill Tolliver from Owens Corning, Tom Olver from Therm-All, Phil Meador from Bay Insulation, and Nathan Fries, P.E. from CHIEF Buildings for presenting.
