Welcome to the New England Chapter of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association. It is an honor to serve as President of the New England Chapter, representing so many dedicated, innovative and talented members.
The goal of our chapter along with the MBCEA is for professional development and advancement of the industry by offering employee training, seminars and scholarships for those looking to get into our field. Along with continuous learning and growth, networking is a huge benefit to members as each outing, course or seminar allows for building lasting relationships and business ventures within the industry.

The New England Chapter of the Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association welcomes Adam Drummond. Adam is the President of National Safety Services, LLC. He is responsible for the development and delivery of National Safety Services' nationally renowned Environmental, Health & Safety training and consulting service programs & has over 20 years experience in the safety training, consulting, and products industry.
Scope
This National Safety Council course meets all OSHA compliance requirements, and covers all the certification requirements for First Aid, CPR and AED.
Course Curriculum
- Identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illnesses, and injuries
- Preventing disease transmission
- Breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults
- Hands-on exercises
- Introduction to AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators)
Test
A 25-question, multiple-choice test is administered at the conclusion of the program.
Course Materials: All participants are issued an instructional training manual, first aid pocket guide, and full-length course DVD for future review.
Course Completion Certificate
Program participants who successfully complete the course are issued a National Safety Council certificate of completion
We are now accepting applications for the Annual MBCEA New England Chapter Secondary Education Scholarship!
The Scholarship program will award a yearly total of $5,000 to student(s) selected by the Committee to promote our industry and benefit our members.
We encourage you to solicit your employees for eligible students and encourage them to apply.
