Estimator/Project Manager - Stockton, CA
To analyze blueprints, proposals, and other documents, prepare cost and labor estimates, consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss, and formulate accurate and profitable estimates and submitted bids. To accurately develop estimates and bids that result in awarded contracts and position the company for well-managed, profitable projects. The estimator is expected to avoid or resolve and issues arising in the bidding process. Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion, to include coordination with subcontractors and teams to meet customer expectations, while remaining within budget and on time. To identify estimating bidding, cost, and project execution trends that will enable cost reduction, profit improvement and process improvement in the full project life cycle. Contributes to the efforts of the safety to ensure all aspects of operations meet safety objectives for clients, vendors, and employees.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years relevant work.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Products.
- Intermediate knowledge of estimating software systems.
