New England Chapter News:
We had the great pleasure to participate once again in the NH Construction Career Days. Thank you to John Iveson, Rob Riess, Tim Allison and David O’Neil for all their help in staffing the booth and working the event. The students were excited to use the Virtual and Augmented Reality technology provided by Tim Van Zant with Nucor!
“If the job touches construction, it’s here for the students to experience,” says Catherine Schoenenberger, Founder and President of this nonprofit. “It’s amazing to watch how the kid that gets off the bus in morning with the teenage ‘this ain’t for me attitude’ get back on the bus less than four hours later, elated and eager to learn more about what a career in construction could mean for him or her.”

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association is hosting an Insulated Metal Panel Installation Training on Kingspan Insulated Metal Panels on December 10, 2019, from 9 am – 4 pm. This is great training not only for the guys in the field but also estimators and project managers so they know what to look for and also what goes into the projects as they are preparing for them. General contractors also can benefit from this direct knowledge on what to look for as their sub contractors are installing Kingspan panels. Please email Mike Cain to RSVP by 12/6. See the flyer for more information.
