Board Acts on 2004 Dues Structure
Taking into consideration the financial needs of the MBCEA, and the need to be equitable to all members, the Board adopted the following dues structure for implementation January 1, 2004:

Contractor Members - $365 (+ portion determined by chapters)
National Industry Members - $495
Chapter Industry Members - $495 ($300 to applicable chapters)

For many members, this will mean a reduction in total dues. In addition, it is expected that the new dues structure will be advantageous in promoting membership growth during 2004.

MBCEA Starting Mentoring Program
In an effort to improve the chances of success for new contractor and erector companies, the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) is introducing a mentoring program for its members.

The program is designed to offer assistance for companies who have been in business less than three years. Mentors will be assigned to the young businesses for a two-year period, offering business advice and counsel via a variety of methods such as phone and e-mail.
