President’s Welcome Letter
Welcome to the MBCEA Carolinas Chapter website. We are the chapter that covers North and South Carolina for the National Association called the Metal Building Contractor and Erectors Association. For more information on the National Association, please visit the National MBCEA website.
Our chapter has been in existence since the late 1970’s. Most of the best Metal Building contractors and erectors in the Carolinas (and the country) participate in the association. We also have many start-up contractors and erectors that join because of the training and seminars that we put on. They also take advantage of the vast experience that there is to draw on by our members. This is also one of the major reasons that I am a member. If you are a Metal Building contractor or erector there is no where else to go to have the specific networking that you will have with our Chapter and the National Association. Most of the major metal building manufactures and related suppliers participate in the association. This adds to the networking value.
This year the Carolinas Chapter will have a Spring, Summer, and Fall Chapter Meeting that will have top notch seminars with networking and socializing time. The big event is our Annual Summer meeting on Hilton Head Island. It is a great weekend filled with seminars, recreation, networking and of course a beautiful resort on the Atlantic Ocean!
By being a member of the Carolinas Chapter you are qualified to apply for the Building of the Year and Safety Awards given out annually. Our Chapter also offers an annual scholarship to college students of member’s employees.
